Scholarships for young students:

 

When Saturdays on Senge ended, FOS decided to fund scholarships for children with financial needs to attend Mass Audubon Felix Neck’s after school educational programs. The curriculum was similar to that of Saturdays on Senge; kids learn about the pond ecosystem and marine life.

 

Those programs became quite important during the recent pandemic crisis as children could learn outdoors after being home learning while looking at a monitor. The funds allowed several children to benefit from attending the after school program. To promote the scholarships, Felix Neck advertised the FOS scholarships in its brochure about this program.
