Together with MVC, FOS continues to support testing of the pond water to ensure the best possible environment for shell fish habitat.
The Vineyard Conservation Society (VCS) publishes a free weekly email almanac containing Vineyard environmental local, county and state government happenings. FOS often submits current information to the almanac and considers it to be part of our information system. The VCS web site is valuable place for environmentalists to visit www.vcsmv.org. The goals of the VCS are protection, advocacy and education.
Massachusetts Audubon Society - Felix Neck
Felix Neck is key member of Sengekontacket life. The preserve sponsors a number of educational programs for the entire family and has well maintained paths for walkers.
Sheriff's Meadow Foundation - Caroline Tuthill Preserve
The preserve is located in Edgartown off the Vineyard Haven – Edgartown Road and borders the Pond.

Martha's Vineyard Shellfish Group
Shell fishing is a "green" industry on Martha's Vineyard. In addition to hatchery activities, the MVSFG is active in education and conservation. The site is educational, informative, and has many good links. Here are links to shellfish information:
